Co-Editors:

Peter F. Schnatz, Yvette LaCoursiere, Christopher Morosky, Jonathan Schaffir, Vanessa Torbenson, and David Chelmow; Cambridge University Press

SASGOG is writing its fourth book and we are recruiting authors who are SASGOG members to write chapters (cases). The book will contain approximately 90 to 100 cases, each 3-5 pages in length (approximately 2000 words). Material in the book will cover the full range of medical and surgical complications occurring ante-, intra-, and postpartum.  The book is a SASGOG project, will carry the SASGOG brand, and proceeds from the book will benefit SASGOG. Cases will be in a similar format to our previous books: Acute and Emergency Care Gynecology: A Case-Based Approach, Office Gynecology: A Case-Based Approach, and Surgical Gynecology: A Case-Based Approach.

Application Process:
The Call for Authors is complete.

Timeline:
We anticipate mailing out case assignments, instructions, and sample cases to authors by the end of March 2023. Cases will be due three months later. We expect the book to be published in late 2023. Authors will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
